Q: We are going on a trip and I plan to make it educational.  What do I need to do?

      A:  You must get a form off the county website for educational opportunities and fill it out prior to your trip.  The principal will have to approve it in order for it to count as an excused absence.  Students will still need to make up work when they return.

 

Q: How many days does my child have to make up missed work?

     A:  The student has 2 days for each missed day.  However if it is the end of the quarter, students may be asked to turn in work prior to the end of the quarter to ensure their work counts towards their report card.

 

Q:  Is it ok to send you an e-mail instead of a note when my child is sick?

      A: Yes, I print out those e-mails and file it for attendance, just like the notes.

 

Q: If I am picking my child up early, do I have to wait in the carpool line?

       A: If you arrive before 3:30, not at 3:30, you can ask the office to have your child dismisssed early.  Otherwise, you will have to wait in the carpool line.
